One of the rescue groups I volunteer for NEEDS HELP NOW!

This group had a source of what seemed to be a limitless supply of free dog food, is now VERY LIMITED. Canine Advocacy Sanctuary & Adoptions (CASA) is and has been providing care, and sanctuary for 30 dogs. C.A.S.A. is an organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and placement of dogs with behavioral problems. They work exclusively with... shelters and other rescue organizations offering help in a variety of ways. Not all of our dogs came with behavioral issues. Some are here due to health issues or simply because there was no where else for them to go.

"For almost two years we have depended on the generosity of a food pantry in Ohio. Over the past six months the donations coming into their warehouse have been reduced by more than 50%. In the past two months the donations have dropped even lower. CASA is now in a desperate position for dog food and rawhide chews. We provide care for 28 dogs. 14 live here in permanent sanctuary care. 6 are "difficult adopts" and have each lived here, at least, a year. Each one of these dogs needs an experienced foster/home. We currently have 9 dogs ready for adoption.

If you can foster a dog or adopt a dog, please consider doing so. Every dog deserves the chance of a loving home and our dogs are in a perilous situation, until we can secure a new, permanent food source."
